Mumford & Sons hint materials of their sophomore album
Mumford & Sons played their first Gentlemen of the Road Stopover festival yesterday, June 2, in Huddersfield's Greenhead Park. The day took as the band performed a number of songs anticipated to be in her next album as well as songs from their multimillion-sold album 'Sigh No Moore.' The band were accompanied by a number of other artists including Michael Kiwanuka, Nathaniel Rateliff, Slow Club, Willy Mason, The Moulettes, and The Correspondents, who closed the song.
The band played a number of tracks from their first as well as second album. They confirmed the first tract will feature on their sophomore album to be 'Below My Feet.' They also played a new version of their "unorthodox" song 'Whispers In the Dark", which is also anticipated to be featured in the second album. Their another low-key number 'Ghosts That We Knew', which they debuted earlier this year, is anticipated to be included in their second album as well.
The show was accompanied by stunning light-show. At the end of the show, Marcus Mumford said, "People kept on asking us, 'why Huddersfield?' and
this is why,” he added, gesturing towards the dancing crowd as they
yelled with appreciation.
